چکیده
Background: Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is a popular herbaceous annual seed spice crop. It mainly grown for as well green leaf, the leaf and yield varied with genetic background of genotypes. Therefore, selection genotypes high highly desired, along magnitude heritability advance wider adaptation cultivation. In this view, accessions were collected their variables assessed. Methods: The experimental material included 48 coriander two check varieties CO4 CO5. plant materials obtained from germplasm repository at Department Spices Plantation Crops, Horticultural College Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. experiment was laid out in Randomised Block Design replications. Results: results analysis variance revealed significant differences among accessions. High coupled GAM observed economical trait (87% 48.93% yield) indicating that, traits heritable nature, hence breeding most effective. PCV GCV moderate to all except number days harvest moisture content coriander. significant, positively correlated protein. genotypic correlation greater than phenotypic increase accessions, either simple or mass desirable associated would be

The Effects of Sowing Dates and Densities on Yield and Yield Components of Coriander(Coriandrum sativum L.)
Sowing date and density are two important factors in produce of coriander. A field experiment was conducted with treatments: sowing time (5 May, 20 May, 4 June and 19 June 2009) and plant density (10, 30, 50 and 70 plants m). The experimental plots were laid out in a factorial according to a RCBD with three replications. Results showed that the effect of sowing dates and densities were signific...
